Pula, Croatia - Roman Ruins Sept. 16, 2018
After walking our luggage back to the car, we headed back in to Rovinj for a few more hours before heading to Pula, Croatia home to Roman era ruins and one of the best intact Coliseums. Google Maps offline took us to the wrong town initially, but after a bit, we figured out we weren't where we were supposed to be, and when I reentered the location it pulled up the driving directions, even without the internet. Google Maps offline is still mystery..sometimes that works fine, most of the time it won't pull up the directions with out internet. Perplexing. Anyway, we met Davor our host and he gave us the lay of the land; a nice little place, and he is very organized. We spent the afternoon and early evening exploring the ancient Roman Ruins which was an easy walk from where we are staying, and had a great and inexpensive meal at the Jupiter restaurant, one of Davor's recommended restaurants. A relaxing and enjoyable day.
