Bled, Slovenia

Another nice little apartment here in Bled, about a ten minute walk to the city center and lake.  We ate both our meals in here and both were quite yummy.  Today, we drove ten minutes to the Vintgar gorge in Triglavski narodni Park where we joined lots of other tourists (many local tourists) in walking the gorge, which although busy, was indeed quite beautiful.  Then back to our apartment for a lunch, and then we spent the afternoon walking the 3.5 mile trail all the way around the lake, and then hiked up the hill to Bled castle where we took in the views, toured the castle and as a bonus took in a medieval show that they were doing in the castle courtyard.   A beautiful sunny day with a high around 80.
