Arrival Day El Calafate and drive to El Chalten, &Hike to Waterfall - Argentinian Patagonia

They moved our flight up by several hours a few months ago, and we had to get up at 2:45 AM for a 3:15 ride to the airport for our 5:30 AM flight to El Calafate, Argentina..then a 2 hour car ride to El Chalten, base for our Argentinian Patagonia treks.  The ride over was spectacular and I got a lot of great shots driving over.  After we got set up at our trekker hotel, we did a shorter 4 mile RT hike up to a waterfall via a beautiful glacial valley.  Tonight a great meal at Yenu (most restaurants only take cash, a few also take VISA, about 3 take MC with one of them being Yenu.  Beautiful blue sky day...we got a lucky start..it rained all last week here.
