Bar Harbor, ME and Acadia NP Carriage road October 17, 2019

A Nor'easter hit overnight and there were major power outages from New Jersey on up the coast.  We lost power at 6:30 AM...it turned out to be very localized.. a tree came down on the power line just down the road and the tree was blocking about 2/3rds of the road.  We left at around 11:15 and they didn't have the power back on, but the crews were just arriving then.  It spit rain a little and blew but for the most part the major part of the storm was over by the time we got out.  A shopping day for Donna in Bar Harbor and a walk around and take photos of Bar Harbor and then later a carriage road walk in Acadia National Park for me.  Donna is sorting through her over $700 in purchases, most of them gifts for family and friends tonight before we head back to Boston and a motel night before she flies home and I start the big drive back.
