Living the Island Life, Quadra Island 7: Sunset paddle at Smiths Road beach

Anna and Nic enjoyed trying out my NC 17 Quest kayak so much the other day, that they decided they wanted to do a sunset paddle down at Smiths Road Beach.  Although this beach is a large rock and pebble beach and not an ideal kayak launch spot, Nic and I carried the kayak over the beach and into the water where we got in, and we had the place as usual to ourselves.  Anna, Nic and I all took a spin while taking in the beautiful scenery, and Donna came down as well (she gets her turn in the boat later).
