Living the Island Life, Quadra Island 5: Kayak to Breton Islands

Sea kayaking has become a favorite outdoor activity, and I wanted to have Nic and Anna try it our too, so we rented two double kayaks from Quadra Island kayaks and did a day trip to the Breton Islands and other nearby locales. We tried to do this the previous day, but had to cancel as there were strong winds all day and rough seas (Quadra Island Kayaks canceled their group kayak that day). It's cool and cloudy the day we go, but very calm seas so we had a great day of paddling. The seals weren't hauled out the two times we checked but we saw a lot of seals in the ocean anyway. The great news from my perspective was that Anna and Nic loved it (so did Donna, but she's been a number of times before), and would love to go again. Another great day on Quadra Island.
