Cornices/Death Valley Hike April 3, 2018 Atacama Desert, Chile

Our last excursion here in the Atacama Desert.  Katie and "hand surgeon" Elliot join us with guide, Krasna.  Easy outing, a walk along the "Cornice" above the Death Valley, also known as the Valley of Mars.  Our climb down to the valley from the cornice was down along a large sand dune.  There were some folks "sand boarding" near the bottom of the dune.  Relaxed and very striking outing.
