Sun Valley loop trail RMNP 2-24/25-2018

I cross-country skied the Sun Valley loop trail in RMNP two days in a row, on two fairly cold days.  On the first day, Brad joined me on snowshoes.  He took "a maintenance day" the next day and I did the loop counterclockwise.Both days were windy, and overcast but still enjoyable.  This is a trail I had not done before and it was much nicer than I thought it was going to be, which is why I hadn't done it before now.  About half of the trail goes along the Colorado River  and the large meadow that in the summer often has Elk grazing.
