Cross country skiing the Colorado Headwaters trail in Rocky Mountain National Park 2-09-2018

Another 8 mile or so day going up the Colorado Headwaters Trail in RMNP.  Made it up to Lulu City and where Lulu Creek and Skeleton Creeks join to form the Colorado River.  Only saw a man and his son all day.  Lots of Moose tracks but didn't see a moose, but did find a moose antler that very recently (in last few hours0 had broken off of a moose's head in an area which was all trampled down with lots of moose tracks.  My theory was a fight between two bulls with the loser losing an antler.
Very windy in the afternoon, but balmy temperatures in upper 30's, so some sticking to the snow coming out.
