Donna Retired! (for now) - off to California

End of May and Donna works her last day in Littleton Public Schools as an Occupational Therapist on the Child Find Team (actually she was the heart and soul of the Child Find team - she was/is an outstanding therapist with a heart of gold and the taxpayers got their money out of her, I can guarantee that!  Donna had more retirement parties than anyone I've ever known - here are a few pictures from the main events.

Donna's friend and co-worker Martha Arner retired at the same time, thus a joint retirement celebration.

Donna's retired all of 4 days or so, and off we go to the redwood country of California (Eureka/Arcata/McKinleyville area).  This was a trip with a purpose, to help our friend Sue Wright, after surgery, which we did, but we (particularly me) managed to get a lot of fun stuff in.  We have known Sue since our very early days in Littleton, i.e. since Kirsten was maybe 2 or so.  Sue's daughter Jenny (the slightly taller girl in the photos) and Kirsten are the same age, and daughter Julie is between Anna and Colin in age.  Here are the Wrights with Grandma Eleanor (Sue's Mom) in Sue's backyard.

Lot's more from CA to come, it was a wonderful trip - but I'm tired so I'll put it off for another day.
