Back to Utah

After the Utah Canyon country trip, it was back to the week day skiing schedule for a few weeks, before Donna and I headed back to Utah in mid-April to see Anna in her last concert with the Westminster College Chamber singers.  This group has been at the heart and soul of Anna's great Westminster College experience.  Her best friends have come from the Chamber Singers, her roommates have come from the Chamber Singers, her part time job the last two summers has been working for Dr. Chris Quinn, Chamber Singers director, and Chris has become a special friend to Anna too.  We also attended Anna's induction into the Alpha Chi National Honor Society while we were there.  Way to go Anna!

So we had a great weekend, loved the concert (went both nights), Anna and I went for a short but fun hike, the induction ceremony was great with a good speech by one of Anna's education professors, had a great breakfast with Anna's good friend Matt (we always laugh so hard and long when we are with Matt) and got to meet Anna's new boyfriend Nic (who is responsible for passing on the Tao Te Ching quote I used in the Blog Intro).

A most memorable weekend as they always are when we are in SLC.  More on SLC in later postings.

Here are a few pics from that weekend, with an earlier picture of Anna with Chris Quinn that we love. Nic isn't in any of these pictures, but will show up in a later posting - the guy in the picture with Anna is Brady, fellow chorale member and friend, and the girls are Anna's roommates, friends, and chorale members, Jackie and Morgan.  Anna is also shown with Amber - a fellow education major at Westminster.  All of these folks are special to Anna and to Donna and me too.
