The most beautiful mountains? - our Jasper National Park drive thru

Ok, so the Canadian Rockies may not be the "most beautiful mountains", as there is a long list of contenders on this planet, but certainly the Canadian Rockies are among the most beautiful mountain ranges, and in terms of mountain ranges that we have seen, they probably are the most beautiful that we are familiar with ( I still love the Colorado Rockies, the Tetons, the Cascades, etc.). The drive from Lake Louise to Jasper is about 140 miles and it is non-stop spectacular mountains, glaciers, and turquoise lakes. After a pleasant night's stay in Jasper, we take our time doing the "tourist thing" and pulling out many times along our way to grab these photos. The weather cooperates as we head back south to Lake Louise, but is clouding up, and from Lake Louise on to Revelstoke through several more beautiful Canadian Rockies national parks it rains, so unfortunately no pictures of those beautiful mountains - always a good excuse for a return visit. We stay at a a nice B&B in Revelstoke it's for sale if you want to move to Revelstoke) that is a few minutes from the bottom of the revel stoke ski area lifts. A delicious Indian meal fortifies us after another long but satisfying day on the road.
