SLC hike - Take 1
Back to SLC for Don and Donna. A four day visit with two hikes, several dinners out and a great visit at Anna's school where she is student teaching.
First up - our hike up Mill Creek Canyon (yes this is minutes from SLC - I've talked about that before). We hit SLC at the peak of the fall colors - really spectacular. On this hike, it was Don and Donna, Anna, her boyfriend Nic, his sister Katie, their nephew, Jameson (no Anna did not sneek in a baby in the past year along with school and student teaching), and Nic's dog Lelu. I didn't get any good pics of Lelu, but I must admit, Lelu has me rethinking my general dislike of pitbulls. Lelu is a pit bull, and she is a very sweet dog - a total cuddler. Lots of dogs on this trail, and they all seemed to get along so well, it seemed like a large outdoor dog park. We had such a fun time and as you can see it was beautiful.
Afterwards, we (Nic, Anna, Don, Donna, and Anna's friend Matt) went out to dinner at a unique restaurant in Bountiful - just name your quisine, and the chef starts to work - -yummy and very reasonable.
