Wildhorse Canyon hike, San Rafael Swell November 2020

Back for another three days of hiking in the San Rafael Swell area.  This time I head to the south unit, head down the Behind the Reef Road, and do a 8 mile, 4 hour day hike into Wildhorse Canyon.  It’s described as a good introduction to the San Rafael reef area, and I really enjoyed the hike.  Saw two people on an ATV at the canyon entrance and then didn’t see another soul for the afternoon.  Camped near the trailhead, nice sunset, and much warmer overnight temperatures than last week’s 15 degrees...only about 30 overnight, very pleasant in my 0 degree bag.
