Tanglewood Creek and 3 Mile Creek Trails - Mt. Evans Wilderness August 2019
Well I'm home for a few weeks so I've been trying to get out once or twice a week and do a day hike. This last week or so I hiked two more trails that I have done a number of times in the Mt. Evans Wilderness. While certainly not as dramatic as SW Colorado and my backpack into the Wetterhorn Basin, these are close and still make for a really nice outing...by most states standards, these would still be considered to be wonderful. Both hikes were around 8 miles RT. 2500 feet of elevation gain for Tanglewood Creek, and 1650 feet of elevation gain for 3 Mile Creek. Here's the pics.
