Back up a week; Anna and Aria come for a visit; August 2019

At the last minute we asked if Anna, Aria and Nic could come out for Donna's birthday...Nic had to work but Anna had a week between photo shoots.  Last minute airfares were quite pricey so I volunteered to drive out and pick up Anna and Aria and return them a week later.  The road warrior strikes again.  I took the 2018 Accord and it got a phenomenal 42 MPG and that was going the speed limit so between 75 and 80 MPH.  What a great car!  Anyway, they were here for a week and we had a great time.  We walked to our beach several days, and caught a few amazing sunsets, Aria played at the beach and playground, Kirsten made it over, Colin and Paula came over, we went to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science; we went out to Blue Pan Pizza and Donna (aka, Granny) and Aria played all the time.   Of course we celebrated Donna's 66th birthday too!  We also drove up to Mount Evans and saw some mountain goats and great scenery.  So as always it was a great time!
