Fall in SW Colorado: Last Dollar Rd; Telluride; Woods Lake; September 30, 2015

Day 2 of our fall color excursion in Ridgway, Colorado.  Today we drove down Last Dollar Road, which in the summer is a shortcut to Telluride.  The road is only plowed for three miles in the winter. Scenes from the original True Grit movie, and How the West Was Won were filmed in this area.  We spent the afternoon "knocking around" Telluride - and then on the way back to Ridgway, we took a detour to Woods Lake, and some more beautiful fall colors.  Another glorious day in one of our favorite haunts.
