Back up one post - Fall in SW Colorado; Leaving Ridgway over Owl Creek Pass
Forgot to include the photos from the day we left Ridgway (Before I headed to MN and IL) Donna and I drove over Owl Creek Pass on a gravel road that took us into the Cimarron range, so called for the many forks of the Cimmaron River that come out of this range. I have backpacked several times in this area up the various forks, and it is one of my favorite areas in CO to backpack. Turned out to be a good choice as the colors were as spectacular as any of our stay. A great end to a fun and beautiful fall stay in SW Colorado.
