Week one of two on Quadra Island with Nic, Anna and Aria

Back to Canada, finally!   We love BC, and especially Quadra Island.  Anna, Nic and Aria joined us for the whole two weeks at our accomodation on the east side of Quadra on Sunil channel, home to bald eagles, great blue herons, seals, fabulous views, a fantastic provincial park - Rebecca Spit, great hiking, great kayaking, great sunrises and sunsets,  and a big big bonus…humpback whales.    We celebrated Aria’s 7th birthday in grand fashion with faerie hikes, a woodland scavenger hunt, and a magic cauldron.   The humpbacks were absent for the first week but as you will see in the next post, they made up for it the second week.  Fantastic time.
