Epic hike in Capitol Reef NP, Dec. 2021; Cohab, Frying Pan, and Cassidy Arch trails
We decided to do a shuttle hike starting at Cohab trail, proceeding to the Frying Pan Trail, and finishing with the Cassidy Arch Trail. It was only 6.5 miles but a lot of up and down so pretty strenuous hike (all three hikes were rated strenuous). But it was totally worth it. We all agreed it was one of the best hikes we’ve ever done. Nonstop fantastic scenery, and not one other person all day. To have a National Park to yourself these days is unheard of. A cold, crisp and off and on windy day, but mostly blue sky or partly sunny. A gobsmackingly beautiful day!
