The usual fun pursuits - back to SLC

Home for a little while, so it's time for another road trip, this time back to Salt Lake City to see Anna, and for Donna to connect with old roommates and surprise one of them on her 55th birthday. Donna lived for four years in Utah, right out of college (BS - from CSU in occupational therapy), as that's where she found a job. She lived in Ogden for one year and three in the SLC area. She has maintained long-time friendships from that time with a number of people, including Sally, who just recently moved to Wrangell, AK, and Karen, who lives in SLC. The three of them were roommates for a time in SLC, those many years ago. Sally and Donna surprised Karen on her 55th birthday, and a good time was had by all.

While in SLC, Anna and I went snowshoeing 3 times (twice together and once with Donna joining us) in the nearby canyons. All three were wonderful. We also had game night almost every night with Anna, Nic (boyfriend), Matt(friend), Morgan(roommate and friend) and Donna (or some subset of the above) at Anna's apt.

Watching the weather, we left a day later than we had originally planned, and came back two days later - another great advantage of being retired and having a more flexible schedule.

So a really fun and relaxing time yet again in SLC. We do enjoy our visits there! Here are some pictures.
