Grand County, CO January 2025

 Brad had the same townhouse rented for 8 day in late January in Granby and I joined him for 5 days snowshoeing every day in RMNP.  We did the Holzarth cabins and trail past the cabins, Monarch Lake loop, the Colorado Headwaters trail, the East Inlet Trail and the East shore trail.  All trails that we have done a number of times over the years and all really good ones.  It started out very cold (our first outing was 3-7 degrees), but got gradually a bit warmer every day.  We had at least a foot of new snow while there, but the sun came out on my final day (Brad saw the sun on all of his last three solo days.  George Zimmerman was going to join us but came down with Covid and had to cancel.   Didn’t see anyone else on the weekdays and only a few other folks on the two weekend days.  Another nice winter trip.
