3rd week on Cortes Island, BC; Anna, Nic and Aria arrive; July 2024

 Aria had her summer dance performance on Saturday and Anna, Nic and Aria took off on Sunday for the three day drive up here to Cortes, arriving on Tuesday.  We have two places rented on Cortes for this week.  Anna, Nic and Aria moved into our place on Cortes Bay and we moved over to our Manson’s landing/lagoon location.  We packed a lot into their five full days/6 nights on Cortes with lots of kayaking,  tidepooling at Manson’s landing/lagoon, Hollyhock visit and anniversary dinner out for Anna and Nic; hikes/walks to Hank’s beach, along the Hollyhock shoreline, games and of course great eats with Donna, Nic and Anna doing the cooking and me doing the cleanup.  I think Anna and Nic really enjoyed their first time on Cortes Island.
