Last ten days on Quadra - July 2023

 All of the usual suspects….hiking, paddling tidepooling from the kayaks, seals, humpbacks, orcas, eagles, great meals, great scenery, gorgeous sunrises, games most nights, faerie hikes, daily  walks on the Kay Dubois trail, etc.    Add to that a visit by Bill and Karen Wilcox our last week on the island, great to see them and fun to show them around the island a bit, and then we had breaching humpbacks, and at least 6 orca swim bys in our 4 weeks here.  The sign that greets you in Quathiaski Cove has got it right  “Simply Paradise”.
