First ten days on Quadra Island, BC July 2023

Whales and eagles and seals oh my!  Our return to Quadra Island confirms it, this is such a magical place for us.  We have seen humpback whales every day since our arrival, orcas have cruised by several times, we’ve done several great hikes, great kayaks including tidepooling from the kayaks, catching our early morning spectacular sunrises, walking Rebecca Spit in the evening and watching the sunset, spectacular scenery from our front window and deck.  Having great dinners on our deck every evening (who needs restaurants, we have the best seats in town).   I haven’t read one page of a book since we arrived, too busy taking it all in.
