Trinidad, CA June 29-July 5, 2021
The Canadian border is still closed, so back in the spring we canceled our reservations for the summer in the Vancouver Island area and put together a 2 week trip (3 with travel time) to Trinidad, CA in redwood country and the Sw Oregon coast. First up was Trinidad. We love the redwoods and Trinidad is such a spectacular location. Nic and Anna got married here 9 years ago (yikes!) and our friends the Wrights live here so it has been a favorite location to visit. Redwood photo shoots, redwood hike to the “marriage tree”, lots of beach activity, tidepooling, etc. were all on the agenda for our week here. Our airbnb had a fabulous view of Trinidad harbor, and “Indian” beach was just down the hill. Connected with the Wrights (Sue, Julie, Jenny and Cesar) a couple of days. An absolutely wonderful week here.
