Bangkok and the lantern festival, 11-25-2015

On to Bangkok, where we stay only one night before flying home early the next morning.  Leaving Cambodia and entering Thailand is much easier than leaving Vietnam (don't even need to pay for a Thai tourist VISA).  Bangkok is a city of 14 million, and parts of it are very modern with major freeways that make you fell like you have returned (for better or worse) to "civilization".  We are in Thailand on the night of the lantern festival (Loi Krathong) where you buy and launch floating candles into the river putting all of your bad karma behind you.  After our farewell dinner a group of us head down to the river and join in the festivties - sending our bad karma down river.  A fireworks display ends the evening and our time in Bangkok and SE Asia.  Quite the amazing adventure!
