A longer than normal drive back from Canada; aborted first border crossing due to huge long back ups (90 minutes plus); alternate route crossing southern BC and highway 1 and 3, came to a grinding halt on highway 3, and a 90 minute stoppage on the highway (3 squad cars, 2 ambulances and a flight for life helicopter)…never did see what happened, but whatever it was, it wasn’t good. Got to Anna’s house Thursday evening, Donna arrived on Wednesday evening. Then the bikes fell off the car( they survived - the bike carrier did not) - this while Donna was taking Aria to school on Friday! Anna’s crazy busy with a new job in Granite school district and fall photo shoots. We tagged along on Saturday to scout out photo locations and hit the peak fall colors in the upper canyons. and we had a fun October movie night and always good meals.
