Post Christmas family gathering in Montrose, CO, December 2025

 I drove home a couple of days before Christmas from Montrose, and Kirsten stayed in Montrose.  Then Donna, I and the dogs drove back to Montrose on Christmas Day.  We had Christmas dinner at Pat and Mark’s along with their friend Judy from Wheaton, IL.  Wonderful meal and a great way to end Christmas Day.  Anna, Nic and Aria drove to Montrose on Sunday, December 28 and drove home on January 1st.  We explored Montrose, went down to the river park, and drove to the top of County Road 5 in Ridgway, stopping at the Ladybird cafe and bakery on the way.  Took local walks with the dogs, and played games every evening, and had a wonderful and relaxing time - nice sunny weather.  The only negative was that poor Anna was nursing a cold, but amazingly none of us came down with it.  So we christened the Montrose house with a great time…hopefully many good times ahead there, especially after Denise moves out this spring.
