Montrose house closing, recreating near Montrose

 Short version:  We purchased a home in Montrose.  After my sister Denise sells her townhouse in Sycamore, we will be coowners of the home. Denise and Kirsten will live there, as will the dogs in the summer, and Donna and I will visit frequently during the year when we are not in Canada in the summer.  While in Montrose for the closing, I stayed for 5 nights, having the home interior painted, and setting up utilities, internet, etc.  Pat and Mark graciously offered for me to stay with them, and we managed to sneak in two outings…all of did a snowshoe at the Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP, and Mark and I did a cross country ski outing above Ridgway.
