Wedding in Madison, Sycamore visit, and Covid

 We attended Ben Gutman’s wedding in Madison, WI, and it was quite the affair.  300 people attending, beautiful fall weather, and amazing receptions.  We stayed with Donna’s sister Carla who lives in Madison, and participated in an ALS fundraiser walk, and several other neighborhood walks in her beautiful neighborhood.  On the way to Madison we stayed at an airbnb in Atlantic Iowa, that we really liked.  Ate at what for me was the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever eaten at….go figure, Atlantic Iowa.  After Madison we went toSycamore for a visit with sister Denise.  But everything went south from there.  I got really sick on Monday, followed by Donna on Tuesday, followed by Denise on Wednesday.  Carla also got very ill.   That’s right, Covid finally caught up with us.  Fairly certain we picked it up at the wedding.  Donna is still struggling to recover two weeks later.  I managed to drive us back, straight through, on Saturday, but a lousy ending to what was a fun trip up to Covid time.
