Ridgway/SW Colorado fall color trip with Donna and Denise, Sept 2022

The house we usually stay at above Ridgway was available for four nights the last week of September, so several months ago I rented those nights and invited my sister Denise to join Donna and me there.  We had a great several days of beautiful fall color.  Some nice colors coming and going to Ridgway, particularly at Kenosha Pass, Vail and Beaver Creek.  Colors were about a week from peak in the Ridgway/Dallas divide area, but were at or near peak on Red Mountain Pass, Silverton and Telluride.  So we drove Redmountain pass, Silverton, the highway to Telluride, Telluride, Last Dollar road, and County Roads 5 and 7.  Some really spectacular colors and not that many other leaf peepers about.  Denise got to see Kirsten before and after and also saw Colin and Che briefly too.  A wonderful time!
