Denise visits Colorado - Feb 2022

 We have lived in our house for 22 years and Denise has never seen it, She hasn’t flown since 1985.  We take care of both those items in February when she comes for an 8 day visit.  First night and day is here in Littleton, where she and Kirsten really bond.  Drove her around our neighborhood and Bow Mar to give her the lay of the land.  Then up to Grand County . Where we spent 4 days snowshoeing with Pat, Mark and Brad.  She stayed the first three nights with PAt and Mark, and the last night at Brad’s Donna and I stayed all 4 nights with Brad.  We had dinner at both locales, watched several shows in the evenings (Death in PAradise, Alfred Hitchcock presents, the Fugitive) and went for three snowhoes together…Howzarth Cabins in RMNP on a cold snowy first day, East Inlet on a glorious sunny second day and Monarch Lake on a beautiful sunny day.  On Monday, Pat and Mark got ready for their next company (their biking friends, Jens and Shelley, they met this summer), Donna and Brad snowshoed the East shore/Ranger MEadow loop and Denise and I did some photo shoots in the area.  The weather turned bitterly cold when we got back to Littleton, but Denise and I still got out to Roxborough State Park for some more photo shoots.   We got in more show watching with Kirsten (The MArvelous Mrs. Maisel), before Denise flew back home.  We also expanded her culinary horizons with her first time ever having salmon, Chou U Gai, and Detroit Style Pizza.  A really great time.  I think Denise really enjoyed herself!
