Thanksgiving 2021 in Ridgway, CO

 Our second Thanksgiving in Ridgway at Sneffels retreat in Elk MEadows, about ten miles outside of Ridgway, CO, up County Road 5 one of our favorite places.  Anna, Nic and Aria joined Donna and I there ( we were there for a week, everyone else was there 4 nights).  Colin and his girlfriend Che also joined us for Thanksgiving dinner, an attempted rendezvous in Ouray, and Saturday night dinner.  They stayed in Silverton with their dogs (no dogs allowed at our VRBO rental).  Donna spent way too much time getting ready for the trip and perhaps this will be our last time coming (my position) since it’s hard for me to assist with the meal and gift prep, so the burden falls on Donna but Thanksgiving dinner was superb and a great time was had by all, so we shall see.   The views where we stay on tip top!  No real snow so far this year though, and way above temps, concerning for the coming ski season and water supply.
