Visiting Denise in Sycamore, IL June 2020

I would have gone earlier but technically IL was is a safe at home stage for the coronavirus through May 31, so I delayed my trip until then.  New record time driving there...13.5 hours; 960 miles.  Drove the Accord; got just under 41 mpg for the round trip.  It’s an amazing car.  Denise had Monday and Thursday off, and I arrived Sunday night.  She worked 11-6 on Tuesday and Wednesday so we had a lot of time together.  Explored Sycamore a bit..saw a number of historic houses on
Somonauk street, took a couple of walks, in spite of the above average temps, had some good meals at home, bought a couple of flower pots to add some color for her front and back.  A relaxing and enjoyable visit.  Denise is doing well; Meijer’s is going well so far, and her townhouse is great.
