Door County Wisconsin - Peninsula State Park & Fish Creek Sunset

Donna and I take a ten day trip (Donna) (3 week trip for Don) back to the upper midwest.  Lots of driving starts out the trip - First night in Pierre, SD to visit some of my Snyder cousins (forgot to take of photo unfortunately) - a great visit; then 6 hours to Detroit Lakes, MN to visit Jeff and Michelle Norby - Donna had never met them and they hit it off wonderfully; got to see one of Jeff's daughters (Gretchen) and her two twin boys, too. - then 8 hours south to Madison, WI for a night and morning with sister and brother (in law) Carla and Pat - then 4 hours up to Door County Wisconsin, which is a peninsula that sticks out into Lake Michigan by Green Bay.  We stayed in a great bob/airbnb in Ellison Bay (more next post).  Our first full day we went to Peninsula State Park and hiked five miles, then knocked around Fish Creek, WI, followed by a fish boil dinner and a nice sunset over Lake Michigan.  A great day in Door County.
