Celebrating 33 years of marriage in a gorgeous setting; Ridgway, Colorado

33 years ago (January 16th that is) Donna and I got married. Much has happened since, most of it good (although no life is without its bumps along the way). Donna is as beautiful as the day we got married, and as wonderful too - so it is safe to say that I have no regrets in the marital choice part of life!

We chose as the location for our long weekend (5 nights actually) to go back to SW Colorado. We stayed in our first airbnb, a wonderful studio apt. above Heather and Drew's garage, about a mile out of the town of Ridgway, that has absolutely fantastic views of the Mt. Sneffels range. The apt. is perfect for the two of us, and is nicely outfitted.

During our stay we cross-country skied up East Dallas Creek Road, snowshoed up Miller Mesa Road (the end of County Road 5), spent an afternoon in Telluride (about 40 miles away), and cross-country skied in the Ironton area above Ouray. Also we enjoyed a celebratory dinner at the delicious Adobe Inn in Ridgway. A really relaxing and wonderful time, and of course we now want to move to Ridgway!
